Microbrouwerij De Rechter is a craft microbrewery located in Hasselt, the capital of the Belgian province of Limburg. Rooted in genuine Hasselt craftsmanship, the brewery has established itself as one of the notable independent brewing operations in the region. It is situated at Rechterstraat 47 in Hasselt and plays an active role in the local brewing community, co-organising events such as the cycling brewery route 'Fietsen Langs Hasseltse Brouwerijen & Friends' together with fellow Hasselt breweries Brouwerij de Borggraaf and Brouwerij De HopHemel. The brewery's portfolio reflects a passion for Belgian beer styles and creative experimentation. Among their beers are a Belgian Tripel, a fruit beer called Pruim Fruitbier, and a Kriek Black Pepper, showcasing a range that spans traditional Belgian styles as well as more adventurous interpretations. The brewery has also ventured into barrel-aged brewing, releasing their very first barrel-aged beer alongside newer additions to the lineup. Beyond brewing, De Rechter offers a distinctive experience for beer enthusiasts: visitors can participate in a 'Brewer for a Day' session of at least six hours, joining the brewing process hands-on. The brewery also organises guided beer tastings for groups of up to eight people, with or without food pairing. Their Pruim Fruitbier has been recognised at the World Beer Awards, established by the Brewers Association in 1996.
