Brasserie BAYA is an artisan brewery located in the heart of Bayeux, a historic city in Normandy, France. Founded by Frank and Thierry, the brewery began developing its recipes in 2020 with the ambition of crafting quality craft beers rooted in their local region. The brewery is based in Vaucelles, just outside the historic centre of Bayeux, and welcomes visitors for direct sales on-site as well as guided brewery tours by reservation. BAYA offers a wide and varied portfolio of beer styles, including blonde, white, amber, triple, and IPA. Their beers are characterised by careful malt selection and subtle hopping. The BAYA Blonde Légère is a light and refreshing blonde beer with fine malty notes and mild bitterness, while their amber ale showcases three roasted malts delivering flavours of toasted grain and caramel. Since 2023, the brewery has expanded its brewing team with Luc, who brings an organic line called "La Bio" to the portfolio, adding a certified organic range to their offer. Brasserie BAYA has quickly grown into a diverse craft operation, now brewing six-handed and continuously expanding its range. The taproom and direct sales point make it a welcoming destination for beer lovers visiting the Normandy region.
