Bereta Brewing Co. is a Romanian craft brewery founded in May 2016 by former homebrewers Adrian Biebel and Silviu Burtă. Located in Timișoara, in an industrial zone on the outskirts of the city, the brewery has quickly established itself as a driving force in Romania's growing craft beer scene, attracting attention from beer enthusiasts both at home and abroad. Bereta Brewing Co. has built a reputation for bold, hop-forward beers, with a strong focus on IPA and DIPA styles. Their portfolio includes a range of American IPAs, Double IPAs, and other modern craft styles, characterised by experimental hopping and a commitment to quality. The brewery is known for releasing frequent new beers, many of which carry creative and playful names reflecting their irreverent brewing philosophy. Bereta has gained international recognition through collaborations with well-regarded breweries such as Rascals Brewing Company in Ireland, with whom they co-brewed Voodoo Child, a 7.7% West Coast-style DIPA. Their beers are distributed beyond Romania's borders and can be found in craft beer shops across Europe, including the Netherlands and Belgium.
