Żywiec Porter is a classic Baltic porter from Poland, brewed since 1881 by Żywiec Brewery in the town of Żywiec. At 9.5% ABV, this is a dark, full-bodied beer whose intense colour and distinctive flavour come from four types of malt. The aromas are direct and earthy—roasted grain, coffee and toffee with chocolate undertones. On the palate, the beer is thick and creamy, with a sweet foundation followed by coffee notes and dried fruit character. The finish is clean and warming. Żywiec ages this beer for an average of 90 days at cool lager temperatures, contributing to its smooth, seamless profile. A solid expression of Poland's porter tradition.
