Van Moll's Zoltan Laphroaig BA is a pitch-black Imperial Stout aged for twelve months in spent Laphroaig whisky casks. This maturation imparts a distinctive smoky character to the beer's rich, full-bodied foundation—a nod to Islay's most intensely flavoured whisky. The brew draws from pilsner, brown, biscuit, chocolate, pale, crystal rye and Special B malts, with a touch of peated malt. Chinook hops deliver 50 IBU of bitterness. The result is a stout designed for slow sipping: dense and layered, with peaty smoke that complements deep chocolate and coffee notes without overwhelming them.
