This 14% strong offering marries the monastic brewing traditions that define The Lost Abbey's San Marcos operation with bold wood-aging ambition. The nose reveals dates, bourbon and tropical notes, underpinned by dark fruit and Belgian candi sugar. The palate unfolds with warming caramel and cocoa tones, touched by cinnamon and sweetened condensed milk character. The finish is dry and lingering, with a pleasant alcoholic warmth that slowly subsides.
