Taiheke introduces the eponymous New Zealand hop variety, bringing fruity and floral notes into a classically dry stout framework. Layered malts—Maris Otter, brown, black, chocolate and oats—form the backbone, balanced by restrained hop bitterness. The nose is distinctly floral and perfumed, unusual for a stout.
