Bavaria Herfstbok 2021 is a seasonal bock from Swinkels Family Brewers in Lieshout, brewed specifically for autumn and winter. This rich bock distinguishes itself through the addition of caramelised rye malt, bringing an intriguing twist to the classic bock profile. On the nose, you'll find caramel, ripe fruit, figs and dates. The palate is lightly sweet with prominent caramelised rye malt notes, supported by a full, malty foundation. The beer drinks approachable despite its 6.5% alcohol – less spirited than you might expect from a bock of this weight. This is an annual limited edition that Bavaria brings to its seasonal calendar with consistency.
