Strieper Craft Beer Company from Valkenswaard brewed this Prototype No 9 as an experimental take on the question: can a Dutch brewery make an authentic German hefeweizen? The result is a fruity, hazy weizen at 5.3% ABV, brewed to German standards.

This is no standard recipe. Strieper collaborated with Brouwerij Brouwersnös in Groenlo, creating five different fruity variants from a single 2000-litre base batch. The prototype reflects the creativity of four friends who turned their passion for beer into a microbrewery in 2016.
