Sierra Nevada released this limited edition to mark their 40th anniversary in 2019. The 40th Hoppy Anniversary Ale pays tribute to the West Coast IPA style that helped define the brewery. The beer features three classic American hop varieties: Cascade, Centennial, and Cluster – varieties that were critical in the early days of American craft beer.

The aroma displays clear pine and citrus notes with hints of tropical fruit character. On the palate, bitterness takes the lead, supported by a malty backbone that brings balance. The beer pours a clear amber-gold with a full white head. An approachable IPA that honours Sierra Nevada's brewing legacy.
