Schwabenbräu Das Winterbier is brewed by Dinkelacker-Schwaben Bräu in Stuttgart, the result of a 1996 merger of two established Württemberg breweries. This winter beer delivers a full-bodied, malty experience with restrained character. The beer displays a deep golden-brown colour. On the nose, malt predominates alongside grainy notes, with hints of cookie and biscuit. The palate follows with a full body, malty and grainy character complemented by stone fruit and citrus touches, framed by subtle floral and grassy undertones. The finish is soft and gently prickling, with light hop freshness and spice. At 5.5% ABV and soft carbonation, it offers a smooth, unctuous mouthfeel—well-suited to fatty fish, spiced dishes and aged cheeses.
