Übersee Hopfen from Rügener Insel-Brauerei is an India Pale Ale built on Japanese Sorachi Ace hops. The brewery, established in 2015 on the German island of Rügen, crafts with carefully selected raw materials and open fermentation.

The nose reveals a hoppy profile with citrus aromas leaning toward grapefruit, complemented by tropical fruit notes. On the palate, grainy malts, biscuit and toasted character emerge, followed by melon and papaya. The overall impression is intensely fruity yet simultaneously dry and crisply bitter, with a pleasant bouquet of coconut, lychee and lemongrass.
