Ayinger Jahrhundert Bier is an Export Lager first brewed in 1978 to mark the 100th anniversary of Privatbrauerei Ayinger. This golden lager adheres to the Reinheitsgebot, brewed from pure water sourced from the brewery's own St. Andreas spring, carefully selected malt, and noble hops. The aroma displays floral notes and a subtle honey character with a light spicy edge. The beer drinks smoothly and refined, with well-balanced malt and a gentle bitterness throughout. The palate shows bready and lightly caramelized malt flavours, finishing with a pleasant spicy note and crisp, lingering bitterness.
