Põhjala Rye River is a rye session ale from Tallinn, where the Estonian brewery blends traditional ingredients with its own creative vision. Brewed with both malted and unmalted rye, it captures a distinctive rye crust character and deep grain presence. The beer shows a full, creamy body with appealing caramel tones throughout. Aromas weave together malty and spicy notes, with hints of chocolate emerging beneath. Põhjala was founded in 2011 by four Estonian friends united by passion for beer and food.
