Nevel Ontij is a wild blonde ale from Nevel Artisan Ales in Nijmegen, brewed with forgotten herbs and locally sourced ingredients. This extremely limited release (only 250 bottles) embodies the brewery's philosophy: staying close to nature through heritage grains, wild botanicals, and spontaneous fermentation.

The beer blends traditional brewing craft with experimental spirit. A foundation of barley, wheat, rye and spelt is enriched with annual mugwort and other wild herbs that define its distinctive character. At 5.5% ABV, it remains approachable yet complex enough to reveal the subtle interplay between malt and wild ingredients.

Nevel has since ceased production, making Ontij a rare testament to their innovative approach to wild beer.
