La Débauche Super Vanilla Brew is a creamy milk stout from Angoulême, France. This modest 5.9% ABV stout is enriched with lactose for a dessert-like character and presents itself in near-black colour with a full, smooth texture. The nose reveals roasted malt and toasty notes, complemented by vanilla and subtle coffee-like undertones. On the palate, the sweetness of lactose dominates, supported by cocoa and roasted malt with a light smoky backbone. The finish is notably abrupt and thins out considerably from the preceding sweetness.
