La Débauche IPA is a French craft beer from the Angoulême-based brewery founded in 2013 by amateur brewers turned professionals. This IPA celebrates French brewing through and through: French malts, French hops and local water combine to create something distinctly rooted in its terroir. Pour it to reveal a light orange hue topped with a firm white head. The aroma opens with grassy and floral hop character, followed by pronounced grapefruit and citrus notes and hints of tropical fruit. On the palate, these fruity elements meet a grainy malt foundation and a medium, lingering bitterness that defines the beer. The finish is dry and bitter, with crisp carbonation that carries the bitterness long into the aftertaste.
