Helping Hand is an Imperial Stout from Jopen, the Haarlem brewery that created this beer in 2021 to support the hospitality industry during COVID-19. The recipe was released openly so other breweries could brew it as a gesture of solidarity. This warming, full-bodied stout combines barley and oat malts. Columbus and HBC431 hops deliver dark, roasted character: chocolate, coffee and bitter notes. Dry hopping adds wild berry aromas. At 10.5% alcohol, it's a robust beer with a roasted, bitter finish.
