An ambitious collaboration between Jopen in Haarlem and Norwegian brewer Mike Murphy of Lervig Aktiebryggeri, this is a potent rye beer matured in Linie Aquavit casks—a nod to Scandinavian spirits tradition. At 13.7% ABV, it carries serious intent. Dark brown in colour with a distinctive rye character. The nose reveals dried red fruit, oak and spice. The palate balances sweetness with gentle bitterness, showing dried fruit and wood notes that complement the full body. The alcohol warmth is present but well-woven into the overall experience.
