Night Shift Vintage 2020 from Horizont Brewing is a Russian Imperial Stout matured in bourbon barrels. This craft beer was brewed with 12 different malts and a six-hour boil, followed by three months of fermentation to prepare it for extended barrel aging in freshly emptied Tennessee bourbon casks. After maturation, the finished beer was steeped in freshly roasted Ethiopian coffee beans and cacao from Ghana. The result is a full-bodied stout rich with coffee and chocolate character, layered with bourbon warmth and dark malt depth. At 12% ABV, it delivers a substantial, lingering finish.
