Laafse Lurk was a dark Dubbel brewed by Hertog Jan in Arcen, following the same recipe as the current Hertog Jan Dubbel but without bottle conditioning. Though no longer produced, this beer remains fondly remembered by those who drank it.

The palate reveals a rich blend of red fruit, a spiciness reminiscent of juniper, and a gentle bitterness from roasted malt. Deep reddish-brown in colour, it offered a malty and complex drinking experience.
