Habesha Cold Gold is a refreshing pale lager brewed in Addis Ababa by Habesha Breweries. This Ethiopian beer is crafted from premium local ingredients—Ethiopian barley malt, hops and yeast—combined with pure water from the brewery's own deep wells. The beer displays a bright golden colour and offers a pleasant, fresh aroma with citrus and grassy notes. The palate is smooth and subtly sweet, finishing clean and crisp, making it highly approachable. The mouthfeel is wonderfully soft and non-aggressive, well suited to warm climates. Habesha Breweries was founded in 2009 by a group of local Ethiopian investors to produce beers made by and for Ethiopians. The company is backed by 8,000 local shareholders and operates under the Swinkels Family Brewers umbrella.
