Gulpener Bierbrouwerij from Gulpen, Limburg, crafts this ambitious Double IPA with a distinctive production method. The beer is frozen to -20°C and subjected to a freeze-distillation process before spending 12 months maturing in Jamaican rum casks. This intensive approach yields a complex character with warm rum notes layered beneath the assertive hop bitterness characteristic of a Double IPA.

The independent family brewery, operating since 1825, sources water from its own springs and hops from its own garden. At 11% ABV, the result is a full-bodied, warming ale with deep character and rich flavour layers derived from extended barrel maturation.
