Grutte Pier 540 Kveik is a 6.0% ABV blonde ale from Grutte Pier Brouwerij, a craft brewery based in Bartlehiem, Friesland. The beer is fermented with Scandinavian kveik yeast, a wild strain that delivers clean fermentation alongside unpredictable character. A single 2000-litre base batch yielded five distinct fruity variations. The beer appears hazy with a stable foam head. Orange and pine needle aromas lead the nose. The palate is complex with a creamy body, carrying the same fruity notes through to the finish. This is a beer where nature is allowed to work freely.
