Fryskauw is a 7.5% ABV Weizenbock brewed by Grutte Pier Brouwerij from Bartlehiem in collaboration with Bird Brewery. This beer marries the characteristic freshness and fruitiness of a Weizen with the full, complex body of a Bock style. Fryskauw opens with fruity and yeasty aromas. The palate is fresh and fruity with pleasant caramel notes and a full mouthfeel. Despite its higher alcohol content, the beer remains approachable and drinkable.
