Zonnig Zeewit from Gebrouwen door Vrouwen is a light witbier at just 3.8% ABV, brewed with kelp harvested from the Dutch North Sea. The beer emerged from a collaboration with The Seaweed Farmers, with ten cents from each can sold supporting their work. This summer beer blends 50% wheat malt with the saline, mineral character of seaweed. Simcoe hops bring fresh citrus notes, while the overall profile remains light and approachable. Expect fruity and crisp flavours, with subtle bitterness emerging in the finish and a clean, dry aftertaste.
