Roodbaard No 10 is a deep dark Russian Imperial Stout from Gebroeders Roodbaard Brouwerij in Steenbergen, matured in Jack Daniel's whiskey barrels. At 12.3% ABV, this robust beer develops complex layers during barrel aging: coffee and light caramel form the foundation, while the whiskey casks contribute sweet and woody character. Maturation in used Jack Daniel's barrels gives this stout a wine-like quality with honeyed sweetness and oak notes. The result is a full, syrupy beer with considerable alcohol warmth. This is a beer for contemplation, best enjoyed slowly and thoughtfully.
