Hipster Unicorn from Gæðingur Brugghús is an Icelandic IPA at 6.2% ABV. This beer emerged from a creative brewing experiment: a single base recipe of 2000 litres was split into five distinct fruity variants. The result is a lighter, more fruit-forward IPA compared to other offerings from the brewery. The nose features citrusy hops with orange, grapefruit and lime, joined by tropical stone fruit notes and spicy grain character. On the palate, it presents clean and crisp, with medium body and restrained bitterness. The overall impression is refreshing and approachable, letting the hop fruit shine without aggressive hop burn.
