Maredsous Bruin
Maredsous Bruin is an abbey beer brewed by Duvel Moortgat under licence from the monks of Maredsous Abbey since 1963. This Belgian dubbel at 8% ABV presents in a dark ruby-brown hue with a complex character that carries its full strength.
The nose reveals layered aromas of caramel, cherry and plum, complemented by dried fruits and typical Belgian yeast notes. The palate follows with full, sweet flavour and pronounced malt character, with hints of coffee and liquorice, supported by warming alcohol.
This is an authentic, mature dubbel that wears its character openly.
