Drentsche Schans Pilsener is a crystal-clear, unpasteurised pilsner at 5% ABV, brewed by Drentsche Schans in Drenthe. The beer stands out for its use of malt from the local ten Hool farm, where grain is grown on Drenthe's distinctive sandy soil. In the glass, it presents a bright, blonde colour with a fresh, light carbonation. The flavour is sweetly malty with a subtle, crisp bitterness and a delicate acidity. The mouthfeel is round and refreshing, with a short finish.
