Scarlet is an Imperial Stout from Basqueland Brewing Project in San Sebastián, matured in Port barrels and infused with vanilla and raspberry. The beer marries the full, dark character of an Imperial Stout with the fruity and subtly sweet influence of Port barrel aging.

The barrel maturation introduces layers of woody complexity, red fruit notes and vanilla alongside the natural dark malt profile. The result is a full-bodied, richly structured beer with warming alcohol presence at 11% ABV.
