Budels Capucijn is an abbey-style dubbel from Budelse Brouwerij, a family brewery in Budel, North Brabant, established in 1870. This ruby-red, top-fermented beer was brewed in honour of the French Capuchins who once lived in the village. The recipe combines barley and wheat malt, Belgian candi sugar, Hallertauer hops and coriander. The flavour profile is malty and spiced, with a soft, rounded character. Sweet malt notes are balanced by a crisp, slightly tart finish. Aromatically complex, the beer offers depth and inviting warmth without heaviness.
