Schwarzwald Zäpfle naturtrüb from Badische Staatsbrauerei Rothaus is a naturally cloudy kellerbier brewed according to historical models. This unfiltered lager originates from the heart of the Black Forest, where the brewery sits at 1000 metres elevation. It is made with soft brewing water, regional malt and aroma hops from Tettnang and Hallertau. The beer appears straw-yellow with white foam and visible yeast particles. The nose shows sweet and hoppy character. On the palate it is soft and gently prickly with subtle sweetness, finishing clean and dry.
