Pronck Hortus Bier is a spiced, copper-hued ale from Leiden-based Brouwerij Pronck. Brewed with cinnamon leaf, Djeroek Poeroet and bergamot, this beer receives a dry hop addition of fresh flowers from the Hortus Botanicus botanical garden. The result is an aromatic ale with soft citrus notes and gentle spice.

Brouwerij Pronck was founded in 2014 by two students who shared a passion for authentic craft beer. The brewery develops, brews and bottles all its beers in-house, producing around 10,000 litres monthly. With Hortus Bier, Pronck demonstrates its commitment to local ingredients and honest, characterful brewing.
