Hillegoms Weizen from Brouwerij Klein Duimpje is a Bollenstreek classic. Founded in 1997 by Erik Bouman after completing a brewing workshop, this hefeweizen displays subtle spice with hints of banana—characteristic traits of the Weizen style. The beer strikes a balance between crisp, fruity flavours and gentle hop bitterness, crowned by a full, compact white head.

Brewed on kettles of 500 and 1,000 litres, Klein Duimpje welcomes visitors to its atmospheric tasting room in Hillegom, open Friday through Sunday. The brewery has earned recognition in amateur beer competitions and remains a fixture in the Dutch brewing scene.
