Kleveretien from Brouwerij Het Nest is a dark, full-strength beer at 10% ABV that grew from the homebrewing passion of Bart Cuypers and friends in Turnhout. Since 2015, Het Nest has brewed at an ultramodern facility in the Kempen region, and Kleveretien reflects the brewery's ambition: a complex dark ale with malty character, caramel and dark fruit notes, accented by subtle anise. The palate balances sweetness and bitterness with restrained hop presence. Caramel and coffee notes emerge in the aroma, while the beer drinks deceptively smooth for its strength. This is a beer with genuine character and depth, crafted with the precision of a modern Belgian brewery.
