Area 053 is the city beer of Brouwerij Eanske from Enschede, launched in May 2014. Named after the historic district where the city began, this blonde ale at 5.3% ABV offers pleasant drinkability with a refined hop character and moderate bitterness. Brouwerij Eanske, founded as a contract brewery in 2013 and operating from a small craft facility since 2019, created Area 053 as an expression of local heritage and contemporary brewing craft. The beer earned recognition at the Dutch Beer Challenge.
