Dikke Jan Kriekbier is a lightly tart fruit beer from Brouwerij Dikke Jan, brewed with real cherries. The beer emerged in 2015 when a group of friends—led by brewer Pol Meerschman—decided to brew together. The gentle tartness comes entirely from the natural flavour of the cherries. The beer combines a fresh, hoppy character with the subtle sourness of the fruit. The taste is pleasantly dry with an agreeable bitterness, supported by spicy and hoppy notes. A true thirst-quencher that invites you back for another sip.
