This ambitious beer matured for over nine months in French Cognac casks, lending it refined complexity and depth. At 9% ABV, this near-black stout delivers a full, creamy palate with sweet notes shaped by barrel aging. The beer is majestic and grand in character—a true celebration of friendship between the two breweries. Brouwerij de Natte Gijt was founded in 2011 by brothers Rudy and Marc Nordhausen, two beer enthusiasts committed to craft brewing.
