Barrel to the Rootz is a formidable barleywine from Moersleutel Craft Brewery, the Alkmaar-based brewery founded by four brothers. This beer is a collaboration with Rootz from The Hague and emerged from a single base brew of 2000 litres, which ultimately yielded five distinct fruity variants.

The barleywine is brewed with rye and has matured in Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. At 15% ABV, this is a full-bodied, powerful spirit with thick, robust character. This is beer for those who appreciate complex, intense flavours and have the patience for a slow indulgence.
