Budweiser is an American pale lager first brewed in 1876. Created by Adolphus Busch and Carl Conrad as a 'Bohemian-style' lager for German immigrants in St. Louis, it remains one of the most widely distributed beers globally. The brew combines barley malt, hops and rice for a clean, crisp character. The nose presents subtle grain and malt with hints of honey. On the palate, grainy flavours dominate with soft sweetness and barely detectable bitterness. The finish is dry and clean, making it a straightforward, refreshing lager without complexity or depth.
