Avereest Mafkees is a Weizen from Brouwerij Avereest in Dedemsvaart, a brewery reviving craft brewing in the Reestdal after more than a century's absence. Brewed with barley, wheat and spelt, this combination creates a soft, refreshing beer.

The palate is pleasantly fruity with hints of citrus, mango and melon. Malty sweetness balances with crisp, fruity notes and minimal hop bitterness. The spelt addition contributes to the characteristic softness of this Weizen style.
