Koukleum is a winter warmer from Brouwerij Avereest in Dedemsvaart, a brewery that has been crafting beer since 2010 in the Reestdal region. After more than a century's absence, brewing returned to this area, drawing on a tradition that dates back to 1818.

This dark, robust seasonal ale has a full, creamy body at 9% alcohol. The palate is sweet with distinctive notes of caramel, liquorice and dried fruit. The beer delivers a warming character well-suited to the colder months.
