This warm, full-bodied beer at 13% ABV grew from a single 2000-litre base brew, which was split into five distinct fruity variants. The result is a complex barleywine with pronounced influence from the apricot brandy casks. Bronckhorster Brewing Company in Rha regularly explores different barrel finishes in their barrel-aged series. This edition nr. 44 combines the robust, malty backbone of a barleywine with subtle fruit and brandy character derived from its extended maturation.
