Chad from Amager Bryghus in Copenhagen is a farmhouse pale ale where wild yeasts and bacteria take centre stage. A collaboration with American brewery Crooked Stave, it brings together two unconventional approaches to brewing. The beer opens with bright citrus—grapefruit and orange—alongside herbal oregano notes. Brettanomyces fermentation contributes a characteristic funk and grassy complexity to the palate. At 5% ABV and 41 IBU, Chad remains approachable despite its wild character. Brisk carbonation adds liveliness to each sip.
