Vedett Extra White is a refreshing Belgian witbier brewed by Duvel Moortgat in Puurs. This light, hazy ale combines at least 40% wheat malt with pale barley malt and is spiced with coriander, orange peel, and classic hop varieties including Saaz, Styrian Golding and Hallertau Magnum. In the glass it pours a soft straw colour with a generous head that quickly subsides. The aroma offers citrus notes, subtle sweetness and grainy undertones. On the palate it is light and crisp, with a pleasant velvety mouthfeel that sets it apart from standard pilsners. The finish is clean and dry. First introduced in 2008, this premium white beer is now exported worldwide and serves as an accessible entry point to the Belgian witbier style.
