East Coast IPA from Rügener Insel-Brauerei is an American-style IPA brewed on the German island of Rügen. At 5.6% ABV, this unfiltered IPA delivers a crisp, balanced take on the style. The brewery uses barley, wheat and oat malts to create a velvety smooth texture, supported by open fermentation with hand-harvested yeast.

In the glass, a clear orange hue with a full head. The nose presents hop aromas with floral and resinous character, accented by citrus notes. The palate balances doughy, slightly grainy malt against fruity, floral-resinous hops with citrus and lighter tropical notes. The finish is fresh and relatively dry, with pleasant hop bitterness that remains restrained.
