Max i Joseph is a helles from Tegernsee, brewed by Herzoglich Bayerisches Brauhaus Tegernsee to commemorate King Max I Joseph, who acquired the monastery brewery in 1817. This is a classic Bavarian lager with clean, refreshing character. The nose presents subtle grain and hop notes. On the palate, sweet Pilsen malt and spicy, floral hops lead to a dry, slightly bitter finish. The body is light to medium with appropriate carbonation. An easy-drinking lager that reflects traditional Bavarian brewing heritage.
