Gruut Blond from Stadsbrouwerij Gruut in Ghent is a distinctive blonde ale brewed without hops. Instead, the brewery uses an ancient blend of herbs: coriander, orange peel, licorice and seeds. The result is a light, unfiltered beer with subtle herbal and citrus notes. The flavour is neutral and smooth with a gentle sweetness, finishing dry and spiced.
