Fagnes Blonde is brewed by Brasserie des Fagnes in Mariembourg, a brewery with deep roots in the Belgian Ardennes. This 7.5% ABV blonde ale is built from barley malt, wheat malt, corn flakes and oats, finished with coriander, orange peel, licorice and additional herbs. It pours a golden colour with a full, creamy head. The nose shows prominent coriander and licorice, backed by soft grain and cracker aromas. On the palate, biscuity notes, fruit and yeast character come through, held together by a pleasant balance of sweetness and medium bitterness. The finish is fairly sweet with a lingering bitter edge.
